Pitch for Microsoft 365 IT

Deployment artifact

1. Use the reviewed manifest at https://pitch.smartwyre.com/bridge/manifest.xml.
2. Pitch requests document read/write access but no Microsoft SSO, Graph, SharePoint, or OneDrive permission.
3. Allow access to pitch.smartwyre.com and Microsoft’s hosted Office.js runtime.
4. Confirm private macOS and Windows acceptance before tenant deployment.

Pilot rollout

1. In Microsoft 365 admin center, open Settings → Integrated apps and deploy a custom Office add-in.
2. Provide the Pitch manifest URL and assign it to the approved pilot users or group.
3. Record the assignment, manifest version, deployment time, and administrator.
4. Allow for Microsoft 365 propagation, then relaunch PowerPoint and verify the Pitch Connector ribbon command on macOS and Windows.

Expand or remove

1. Expand the Integrated apps assignment only after the pilot acceptance record is complete.
2. Give assigned employees the Pitch employee guide and the support contact.
3. Change assignments, disable, or remove Pitch through Integrated apps.
4. For a security incident, also ask a named Pitch administrator to revoke affected Bridge installations.
